State Emergency Service (SES) Bundaberg: is a voluntary group who train and assist their community in times of disasters. They also assist other emergency services fulfil their roles at incidents and disasters. Bundaberg Regional Council support our eight groups with support from the State Government. Our Groups include: Bundaberg, South Kolan, Yandaran, Moore Park, Burnett Heads, Bargara, Innes Park, Elliott Heads & Woodgate.

The Bundaberg SES hosts the local WICEN group (Wireless Institute Civil Emergency Network) at the Bundaberg HQ. This group is sponsored by the Bundaberg Amateur Radio Club and is a group of dedicated people committed to assist the community with communications during a major disaster.
