 The Creative Ability Hub provides one-on-one, visual art and or creative writing sessions for people with disabilities. Clients learn real artist’s techniques and work with quality materials. In addition to learning a new skill and discovering a new avenue for self-expression, clients can improve motor skills, increase mindfulness, gain confidence, increase self-esteem, and maybe even discover an avenue to create a future income. I may work in conjunction with clients’ occupational therapists if appropriate. I am not a psychologist. I am a practicing visual artist, illustrator and writer with a CERT IV in Direct Support. However, if appropriate, clients should be accompanied at art sessions by their support worker.
