St Vincent de Paul Society Bundaberg - Emergency Relief: People can receive food, clothing and other assistance on assessment.

Our call centre staff will forward your request for assistance to the volunteer members located nearest to you.

The Support Centre provides immediate assistance by providing food and clothing vouchers for the Society’s Centres of Charity to honour. It can offer information and referral, food and/or food vouchers, clothing vouchers for use in Vinnies shops and other material support.

The Support Centre may receive Emergency Relief funds to assist those in need. Many goods are donated by the community for distribution by the centre.

Who can access a Support Centre?
The service is focused on assisting the homeless without a fixed address, or others unable to receive a home visitation from Society members.

Support Centres may offer services either by walk in or appointment only – please contact your local Support Centre for more information. Personal details of clients (e.g. identification, date of birth, address, income information) has to be clearly established before any assistance is provided.
