SUPPORT WORK
I offer tailored, individual support work for people who are Plan or Self-Managed. Each session is NDIS goal orientated and led by the Participant. My personalised Skill Development sessions are tailored to the individual. I draw on my 20 years’ experience working as a Support Worker, Special Education Teacher Aide and Allied Health Assistant to create sessions that are meaningful, empowering, goal-orientated, and appropriate to the person’s capacity. Cultural Safety is a priority.
ALLIED HEALTH ASSISTANT (L1 & L2)
I am a qualified general Allied Health Assistant with 10 years’ experience in Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy disciplines. If you are doing a therapy program at home or accessing telehealth, augmenting your Allied Health team with an AHA is cost effective (less than half that of a therapist) and will improve your therapy outcomes.
