An accredited Art Therapy Diploma and Clinical Art Therapy Diploma. My aim is to provide therapeutic interventions using the visual arts for mental health diagnoses, wellbeing, early intervention and developmental disorders.
Art therapy is an effective treatment for anyone aged from mild childhood to old age, experiencing developmental, medical, educational, social or psychological impairment. Art therapy has been known to assist people with stress, panic attacks, depression, autism, PTSD, trauma, emotional health, weight control, as well as personal and career development.
The benefits of art therapy are to improve or restore a sense of personal wellbeing, boost self-esteem, provide a sense of accomplishment and improve overall functioning. Creating art within a therapeutic environment produces dopamine, which makes people feel good and improves self-awareness.
